To empower members of the St. Henry community to realize their faith through actively working to improve the spiritual and physical well-being of others in need; and to foster parish involvement in activities which further the causes of justice and peace in our community and beyond as the Gospel calls us.
How we Started
The St. Henry Parish Justice and Peace Committee was formed in May 2000 when the Pastoral Council recognized a need for social action education within the parish community.
Over the years the Committee has offered presentations on Judaism, Islam, immigration, the environment, homelessness, veteran's issues, human trafficking, the death penalty, water purification and an annual prayer service.
Meeting Times
Justice and Peace meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month @ 1:30 pm in the Parish Library.
