To empower members of the St. Henry community to realize their faith through actively working to improve the spiritual and phyiscal well-being of others in need; and to foster parish involvement in activites which further the causes of justice and peace in our community and beyond as the Gospel calls us,
How we Started
The St. Henry Parish Justice and Peace Comittee was formed in May 2000 when the Pastoral Council recognized a need for social action education within the parish community.
Over the years the Committee offered presentations on Judaism, Islam, immigration, the environment, homelessness, vetran's issues, human trafficking, and the death penalty.
Meeting Times
Justice and Peace meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month @ 1:30 pm in the Parish Library.
